Cubs Autumn Update
As a pack over the last term, we have been Bat watching, held a sleepover, took part in 5aside football at a district competition, held a hike, participated in a cross-country run, in which one of our cubs came 3rd. went curling with another pack, held a couple of events around Remembrance Sunday including laying wreaths and planting crosses for the scouts that paid the ultimate sacrifice from the troop in 1914-18.
As directed by our cub council we went to flip out, a great evening was had by all that attended, also we produced tree decorations for Christmas, also we went 10 pin bowling the cubs enjoyed themselves.
As for next year, we are holding 2 camps. One at the end of May, and the other at the end of July start of August.
As usual we will be holding a cub council where the cubs will direct us on a night’s activities, we will continue to attend all the district events, roughly 1 per month, but we start with a party and invite the older Beavers to come along, then a night Hike we are looking forward to an exciting term and 2019.
