Important COVID-19 Update:

Please note for the safety of everyone, all meetings have been suspended until further notice. Please see more at: COVID-19

Welcome!

If you are 6 or 60 I hope you will enjoy the following pages and links and join us in this great adventure we call Scouting

For the 1st Hythe this began back in 1909 when the group was first formed. This came about following Robert Baden Powell’s (BP) publication of Scouting for boys which inspired large numbers of young boys to put into practise what they had read.

The rest is history and can be found on other web pages and links. One hundred years later another Ex-soldier and adventure Bear Grylls inspires the young today, and as our Chief Scouts keeps that BP spirit burning brightly providing fun, adventure and the challenges of the 21st century.

Whether Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer, Network, Leader, Parent or supporter come with us on a Web Journey and enjoy your exploring.

John

Group Scout Leader
